Everything has a source. That force that supplies a thing with power, energy, life, or sustenance. It's easy to think that we are the source of our lives. After all, we work hard to attain food, drink, material things, a home, and a vehicle. The reality is everything belongs to God and He is the source from whom everything, including people comes from.
