Yes or No

Sometimes we say yes and sometimes we say no. What is it that causes us to decide either option? If we look back at our life, undoubtedly there are times we should've said no instead of yes and times when we should've said yes instead of no. So what should we say yes to and what should we say no to?

Mine

The infamous word "mine"... Some of us learn this word before we even learn dadda or momma. Remember when you were a kid and what toys you didn't want anyone to touch let alone play with. Being selfish comes natural for us human beings, but what we have in all reality isn't "mine"; it's His.

The Goods

Do we enjoy receiving gifts or what? Especially when those gifts aren't gag gifts or practical jokes. We expect gifts for our birthday, Christmas, anniversary, etc. Sometimes when we haven't received a gift in a while, we'll just go out and buy one for ourselves. We are all about gifts! Did you know that God has given you gifts?

Nominated

We're very familiar with actors, actresses, musicians, artists, and bands being nominated for awards. Maybe even as a kid you were nominated for class president or some other award. You've also been nominated before you even existed for a specific position by Jesus.

Beastmaster

There's a beast within us that is trying to get out and get its way. This monster can't be tamed, but it can be controlled and left in a cage. The beast can only come out if we let it and if we let it, this monster will bring havoc into our life.

Route 66

There were other roads you could travel on in the United States in 1926, but none like Route 66. It was the first highway to span multiple states. You could go from Chicago to LA. Route 66 was the main street of America. We can travel down many roads in life. Maybe though, the one we're driving down doesn't lead to the life we desire for ourselves. Maybe it's not Route 66.
